Our first free design has just been added to the store, here's a preview of the stitched piece:
this design was inspired by lots of examples of hand-stitched love notes on the internet. You have plenty of time to stitch this one for that special person in your life before Valentine's Day. The design uses backstitch only and I chose Threads by The Gentle Art to give it a softer finish than DMC.

At Sew Stitchy we hope you had a wonderful Christmas filled with the joy of giving and family. Ours had snow added to the mix which was beautiful while it lasted and didn't get in the way of business too much. It's all gone from here now but more may arrive here before the New Year.
Have you made any stitching plans for 2010? Are you always ambitious and then get half way through the year and realise you haven't come close to stitching all the things you want to, or are you more realistic? My stitching New Year's resolution is to find some time to stitch as often as possible!
