Tested the payment part of the website and everything is working securely and smoothly. The site will now accept payment by PayPal and credit or debit card. We will be adding payment by cheque soon….

Away in Rugby teaching the usual ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) course. I was going to have some time off Thu and Fri but now I’ll be in London doing a new (to me) course. 5 days actually working in one week? Outrageous!

This weekend we went on a trip to Ikea in Southampton and bought a new bed for my daughter, drove home in the most awful weather with the boot of the car not completely shut and part of the new bed stuck out the back and then proceeded to dismantle her old metal-framed high-bunk/desk combo [...]
End of what seems like a long week…
with my daughter ill and Mr. Stitchy away in Scotland, work at full tilt (I was covering for someone on annual leave and doing my normal work as well) so I don’t feel as if much progress was made on the shop this week.

I am once again north of the border in Bonnie Scotland in the town of Motherwell near Glasgow, and approximately £50 from Glasgow Airport by taxi. Due to the weather it’s likely to be more of a taxi-taking trip than a walking-and-getting-exercise trip.
